Staco Systems’ Series 100 Pushbutton Switch Receives QPL Approval

Costa Mesa, CA – November 11, 2009
Staco Systems, a leading supplier of aerospace control solutions, has announced that its Series 100 (S100) 4PDT lighted pushbutton switch has received approval under the government Mil Spec of MIL-PRF-22885/114. The S100 is listed on the military’s Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) Qualified Products List (QPL). This specification covers the general requirements for manually operated illuminated push button switches, switch assemblies, and associated modular subassemblies.

Qualified Products List (QPL) listed products are products for which a manufacturer has received approval to sell to a certain specification. Each product must complete rigorous independent laboratory testing to receive government compliance approval. Staco Systems completed the extensive qualifications testing in its state-of-the-art QPL lighting and test facility located in Costa Mesa, CA.

The S100 is designed for aerospace, commercial, avionics, and maritime applications. Achieving QPL approval guarantees the S100 meets the strict specifications that are required in order to be acceptable for military use.
