STACO SYSTEMS PRIVACY POLICY

User accepts STACO SYSTEMS’ privacy policy as set forth below (“Privacy Policy”) with respect to information submitted or collected on the Site. This Privacy Policy is solely with respect to the STACO SYSTEMS Site. This Privacy Policy does not pertain to, and STACO SYSTEMS is not responsible for, the privacy practices of, any third party websites to which the STACO SYSTEMS Site may hyperlink. Certain areas of the STACO SYSTEMS Site may be subject to additional privacy-related provisions, links to which will be posted in those areas.

1. Access Information. When a user accesses and uses the Site, which may be hosted in part or its entirety by a third party, the Site will collect information indirectly and automatically, through the use of automatic data collection tools, about a user’s activities. Accordingly, in addition to the information you provide, STACO SYSTEMS may also collect information during your visit to the STACO SYSTEMS website through these automatic data collection tools, which may include web beacons, cookies, embedded web links, IP addresses and other commonly used information-gathering tools. These tools collect certain standard information that a user’s browser sends to our website such as a user’s browser type and language, access times, and the address of the website from which you arrived at a STACO SYSTEMS website. They may also collect information about a user’s IP address, clickstream behavior (i.e. the pages you view, the links you click, and other actions you take in connection with STACO SYSTEMS website) and product information. Computers use IP addresses to communicate on the internet, allowing users to browse and shop. STACO SYSTEMS may also use some of these automatic data collection tools in connection with certain emails sent from STACO SYSTEMS and therefore may collect information using these tools when you open the email or click on a link contained in the email. STACO SYSTEMS uses this activity information (the “Access Information”) for internal purposes (e.g., to administer the Site, improve the Site, and help STACO SYSTEMS understand how the Site is being used). “Cookies” are small pieces of information stored on a user’s hard drive and not on the Site. Users are always free to decline cookies if a user’s browser permits, but in that case, some portions of the Site may not operate properly. An “IP address” is a number that is automatically assigned to a user’s computer when using the internet, allowing web servers to locate and identify a user’s computer.

2. Use of Personally Identifiable Information. Generally, a user may browse the Site without providing any Personally Identifiable Information; provided that certain areas of the Site may require or allow the voluntary submission of Personally Identifiable Information (for example, registration to receive STACO SYSTEMS publications). STACO SYSTEMS employs a user’s Personally Identifiable information for the purposes for which it was submitted by user to STACO SYSTEMS. Additionally, STACO SYSTEMS may use that information to send you publications and invitations that may be of interest to you. STACO SYSTEMS will give you the opportunity to choose your privacy preferences regarding the communications we send. You can make or change your choices about receiving either subscription or general communications from STACO SYSTEMS at the data collection point. This option does not apply to communications primarily for the purpose of administering order completion, contracts, support, product safety warnings, updates, or other administrative/transactional notices because the primary purpose of such communications is not promotional. Except as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy, STACO SYSTEMS does not share a user’s Personally Identifiable Information with third parties.

For example, STACO SYSTEMS may use a user’s Personally Identifiable Information to:

communicate with you about products and services;

STACO SYSTEMS will require the export of a user’s Personally Identifiable Information to other STACO SYSTEMS-owned or affiliated business entities in the US and worldwide in accordance with this Privacy Policy to satisfy a user’s request. Such export is a condition to user providing the information to STACO SYSTEMS.

For example, these providers and suppliers may include credit card processors, providers of customer support and live-help, email service providers, automated data processors, and shipping agents. Suppliers and service providers are required by STACO SYSTEMS to keep confidential the information received by them on behalf of STACO SYSTEMS and may not use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services they are performing for STACO SYSTEMS.

In the event that STACO SYSTEMS decides to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganize its businesses in various countries, such transactions may involve the disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information to prospective or actual purchasers, or the receipt of such information from sellers. In these types of transactions, it is the practice of STACO SYSTEMS to seek appropriate protection for Personally Identifiable Information.

“Personally Identifiable Information” means information that would allow someone to identify or contact a user, such as user’s name, physical or electronic mail address, and telephone number. Personally Identifiable Information does not include aggregated information that, by itself, does not permit the identification of individual persons and does not include the Access Information.

3. Removal of Personally Identifiable Information. To the extent that STACO SYSTEMS records and maintains a user’s Personally Identifiable Information, STACO SYSTEMS will use reasonable efforts to remove a user’s Personally Identifiable Information from the then-current Site at any time upon user’s submission of a request to “unsubscribe.” Removal of Personally Identifiable Information cannot ensure the permanent removal of such Personally Identifiable Information from the Site. For example, such Personally Identifiable Information may remain in STACO SYSTEMS’ archival or backup copies of the Site.

4. Additional Disclosures. STACO SYSTEMS may share Personally Identifiable Information with third parties, including affiliated firms and third parties performing services for or on behalf of STACO SYSTEMS. Such services may include communications, database, event management, hosting and mailing services. STACO SYSTEMS cannot fully ensure that user’s Personally Identifiable Information will not be disclosed to third parties. For example, STACO SYSTEMS may be legally obligated to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, third parties may circumvent STACO SYSTEMS’ security measures to unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or an error may occur in the administration of the Site. If STACO SYSTEMS needs to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, STACO SYSTEMS may, and user authorizes STACO SYSTEMS to, disclose any information about user to government officials as permitted by applicable law.

5. Accuracy of Personally Identifiable Information. To the extent that STACO SYSTEMS records and maintains a user’s Personally Identifiable Information, it strives to keep a user’s Personally Identifiable Information accurately recorded. To the extent that STACO SYSTEMS records and maintains a user’s Personally Identifiable Information, it will provide individuals with reasonable access to Personally Identifiable Information that such user provided to STACO SYSTEMS and the reasonable ability to review and correct it or ask for anonymization, blockage, or deletion, as applicable. To protect a user’s privacy and security, STACO SYSTEMS will also take reasonable steps to verify the user’s identity, such as requiring a password and user ID, before granting access to user’s data. To the extent that STACO SYSTEMS records and maintains a user’s Personally Identifiable Information, to view and change the Personally Identifiable Information that the user directly provided to STACO SYSTEMS, the user can return to the Web page where the user originally submitted its data and follow the instructions on that Web page.

6. Safeguarding Information. STACO SYSTEMS utilizes appropriate physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard the Personally Identifiable Information collected by STACO SYSTEMS in order to attempt to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to attempt to ensure that the information is appropriately used. The Personally Identifiable Information provided by a user to STACO SYSTEMS is stored on computer systems located in controlled facilities which have limited access. STACO SYSTEMS uses various procedures and security technologies to help protect a user’s Personally Identifiable Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure when collecting or transferring sensitive information such as credit card information.

7. Miscellaneous. STACO SYSTEMS may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time and such modifications will be effective on the date that STACO SYSTEMS posts the modified statement to the Site. Questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy may be submitted to privacy@stacosystems.com. Although STACO SYSTEMS has implemented and follows appropriate technical measures to protect against the risks of unauthorized access to, erroneous disclosure of, and unlawful interception of Personally Identifiable Information, user acknowledges and agrees that such risks cannot ever be fully eliminated.
