Engineering, Design & Development

Staco Systems’ Engineering Department offers a complete range of design engineering, prototyping and design-test services for complex electro-mechanical sub-assemblies. Every Staco solution integrates our core expertise in optics, electrical and mechanical design, mechanical packaging, and human factors, plus more than 55 years of experience.

All products are designed and manufactured at an ITAR certified, 40,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility located in the United States. The facility includes U.S. government qualified optical and environmental test labs. Vertically integrated manufacturing provides full control of the production cycle, allowing flexibility in fulfilling challenging customer requirements.


Staco Systems’ long pedigree of QPL Certification and continued compliance testing is the basis of our infrastructure for providing all of your custom test needs.

All sub-assemblies are prototyped and subjected to thorough design testing to prove compliance with customer specifications before production, including Comprehensive Design Test Reports on request. Production units are 100% tested to custom ATPs before shipping.

At your request, operating under multi-year agreements allows us to plan production, control costs, stabilize prices, and reflect the long-term nature of your expectations.
